SHIPPING
Every piece is handcrafted and dispatched from our atelier in Ubud, Bali. We ship worldwide. Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 3-5 business days of payment confirmation. Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email.
KANTU is not responsible for lost, stolen, or delayed packages due to courier issues beyond our control.
Delivery times vary by destination and are estimates only. DHL Express typically delivers within 3-7 business days once dispatched, depending on your location.
At checkout you may choose between two shipping methods.
Local Ubud Delivery (free) - is free for customers with a delivery address in Ubud postcodes 80571, 80572, or 80573. Your piece will be hand-delivered by our Bali team or sent via Gojek within 1–2 business days. We'll reach out to confirm a delivery window.
Standard Shipping is sent via Pos Indonesia (Pos Ekspor). Delivery typically takes 4–8 business days from dispatch. Parcels are tracked end-to-end and insured in transit. Import duties and taxes, where they apply, are payable on delivery to your local postal service or customs authority.
Express Shipping is sent via DHL. Delivery typically takes 2–5 business days from dispatch.
- For United States orders, all US import duties are pre-paid by KANTU. Nothing further is owed on arrival.
- For all other destinations, import duties and taxes are payable on delivery, as with Standard.
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or fees upon arrival in the destination country. These charges are determined by your local customs authority.
United States customers: with our Express Shipping option, all US import duties are pre-paid at checkout and included in the Express rate - nothing further is owed on arrival. With our Standard Shipping option, US import duties (currently approximately 26–30% of declared value, reflecting the US base rate for HS 7117 jewellery plus the Indonesia reciprocal tariff in effect since February 2026) are payable on delivery to USPS.
Customers in other countries: duties and taxes are payable on delivery for both shipping options. The amount varies by country. We recommend checking with your local customs office before ordering if certainty matters to you.
KANTU cannot accept returns or issue refunds for orders refused due to unpaid customs fees in countries where duties are payable on arrival. Parcels returned to us by the courier due to unpaid customs charges will not be eligible for a refund.
Returns & Exchanges
We want every piece to arrive as it was intended - with care and integrity. If something is not right, we are here.
You may return or exchange an undamaged item within 14 days of delivery, provided it is unused and in its original condition with all packaging.
To initiate a return, please contact us at shop@kantuadornments.com within 14 days of receiving your order. We will respond within 48 hours with instructions.
- Items must be unworn and in original condition
- Original packaging must be included
- Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs
- Returns are at the customer's cost and risk - we recommend using a tracked shipping method
Customers resident in the European Union have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of delivery, without providing a reason. This right applies in addition to our standard returns policy.
To exercise this right, notify us at shop@kantuadornments.com within 14 days of delivery. You must then return the item within a further 14 days, in its original condition with all packaging.
Return shipping cost remains the customer's responsibility — consistent with Article 14 of the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, which permits this where disclosed in advance.
Refunds for withdrawn purchases will be issued within 14 days of us receiving the returned item.
Once we receive and inspect a returned item, refunds are processed within 7 business days. The refund will appear on your original payment method within 5–10 business days after processing, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- Earrings cannot be returned or exchanged for hygiene reasons
- Sale items are final sale and cannot be returned
- Items showing signs of wear, damage, or alteration are not eligible for return
If your piece arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, please contact us immediately at shop@kantuadornments.com with photos. We will assess the issue and arrange a repair, replacement, or refund as appropriate.
Once an order has been dispatched, we are unable to cancel or modify it. If you need to make a change, please contact us within 12 hours of placing your order.
KANTU is not liable for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If a package is lost in transit, we will assist in liaising with DHL to locate it or file a claim. Additional costs incurred will be the customer's responsibility.
