OUR PROCESS
Dreamed in Peru. Made in Bali.
Every piece begins as a symbol - drawn from the iconographic language of Chavín de Huántar, refined through years of studying the carvings, the goldwork, and the teachings of the living tradition. The design is conceived in Peru, in dialogue with the ancestral knowledge that has guided this work.
Then it travels to Bali, where an orfebre - a master of metalwork - brings it into form. The Andean lineage names this craft orfebrería, and reveres it: metal as ceremony, not commodity. Bali carries its own deep lineage of metal-craft. KANTU sits at that meeting.
Bali was not chosen by accident either. It is an ancient land with its own living ceremonial memory - a place where craft and devotion are not separate things. To make KANTU here, between the Andean highlands and this island, feels like a bridge. Two ancient cultures, held together in brass.

WHY BRASS
Warm Tone
Brass carries a soft golden warmth that complements every skin tone and brings natural radiance to each piece.
Made to Evolve
A living material designed to change beautifully over time, shaped by wear, touch, and the life you live in it.
Durable Wear
Strong enough for everyday use, each piece is made to be worn often and enjoyed for years to come.
Unique Patina
With time, brass may develop a rich natural patina - a finish that makes every piece uniquely yours.

A Living Material
Crafted in brass and designed to age beautifully over time, each piece responds to wear, warmth, and life itself. Made to be worn often - and to become more yours with time.
Over time, brass will naturally oxidize. This means its surface may deepen in color, develop a soft patina, or darken slightly depending on climate, humidity, and individual skin chemistry. Some pieces stay bright for years. Others shift more quickly. Both are completely normal.
Oxidation is not damage. It is a natural reaction between the metal and the world around it.
Many people love the aged character that develops. Others prefer to maintain the original golden brightness. Both expressions are beautiful.
Caring for brass is simple and requires only occasional attention.
To maintain its original tone:
- Store your piece in a dry place when not in use.
- Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfumes, lotions, and chemical products.
- After wearing, gently wipe with a soft cloth.
To restore brightness: Gently rub the piece with fresh lemon to naturally lift oxidation from the surface. Follow with a mild hand soap wash to remove any residue, then rinse carefully and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
The lemon acts as a natural brightener. The soap refines the finish. Thorough drying prevents future moisture marks.
Each KANTU piece is sealed with a clear protective coating to help preserve its golden tone and slow oxidation. However, as with all coated brass jewelry, this layer will gradually wear over time — especially in areas of frequent contact.
This is part of the material's nature. With proper care, your piece can remain luminous for many years.
